What we collect, why we collect it and what we do not do with it. Written plainly, and short on purpose.
What this website collects
This site is static. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not collect personal information on its own. The enquiry form does not post to a server — it opens an email in your own mail application, which you then choose to send.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Self-hosting the fonts removes that request entirely — see the project README.
What we collect when you enquire
- Your name and contact details.
- The vehicle and dates you are interested in.
- Driver details needed for approval, including licence information.
- Anything else you choose to tell us in your message.
Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry and confirm availability.
- To assess driver approval and meet our insurer's requirements.
- To prepare and administer a rental agreement if you book.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not add you to a marketing list because you enquired.
- We do not share your details except where necessary for insurance, payment or a legal obligation.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what personal information we hold about you and request correction of anything that is wrong. Contact and we will respond.
Status
This statement describes current practice and is pending review by RennSport's legal adviser before launch. Retention periods and the full list of third parties will be added at that point.
